"Great local place in Elgin to have breakfast or lunch. So many healthy options to choose from, such as vegan and gluten free. We will definitely be back again to try some more delicious coffee, tea and other food items."

"I stopped by on opening day for their soft launch and was so impressed! I ordered the wild mushroom toast, a side of quinoa, and the banana chocolate oat milk latte. As a mushroom lover, I was especially excited — the toast was packed with flavor and the sauce drizzle on top was the perfect touch. The quinoa was equally delicious and full of flavor. The latte was a great pick-me-up — rich, strong espresso with a perfectly foamy finish. Their syrups make for some really fun flavor combos too. As a customer of the previous business and someone who really liked it, it was neat to see how the space has been completely transformed. It has a totally different look and vibe now — bright pops of green, natural decor with hanging plants, a cozy lounge area, a quirky mug wall, and an adorable kids corner. It’s a beautiful, welcoming space that feels fresh and thoughtfully designed. I also really appreciate their dedication to sustainability — from their local partnerships for honey and bagels, to their regional coffee sourcing, to the use of biodegradable plates and bowls. "Eatery 117 was cozy, quaint, and absolutely perfect on a rainy day. There was just one wait staff who made us feel so welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. She was efficient and made our dining experience very pleasant. The food was AMAZING! We were a party of 4 adults and 1 child and everyone enjoyed their orders. This place is a 10/10"

"Great high-quality food selections that are as fresh as they taste. The server is friendly and the chef came out to say hi to us. He asked if we enjoyed the food. Vegetarian options are just as tasty as the normal menu items. You can really taste the love in the food and the atmosphere is quaint and cozy. They have grab and go options that I will be taking advantage of in the near future. The coffee and teas are worth a try as well."

"First visit and had breakfast with my son.we always enjoy a breakfast together. The menu was full of delicious foods . We both had the breakfast bowl. I was impressed with the interior and the cleanliness of everything. I would recommend the restaurant as a delightful change of pace dining. The restaurant exterior is beautiful with huge trees. The Food Lion shopping area is under construction just across the street."

"I had such a great experience with this meal! The sandwich was perfectly grilled—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside—and packed with fresh greens that added a nice crunch. The flavors balanced so well without being overpowering, making it satisfying but still light. The side salad was just as fresh, with vibrant mixed greens, juicy cherry tomatoes, shredded cheddar, and a tangy dressing that tied everything together. You can tell everything was made with care and quality ingredients. Fresh, flavorful, and wholesome—definitely a meal I’d order again!"
